SBEC to Begin Inspection of Underground Equipment in Fieldstore Area

San Bernard Electric Cooperative (SBEC) will begin scheduled inspections of underground residential distribution (URD) pad-mounted transformers and junction boxes starting Monday, July 28. The inspection work will be conducted by Front Line, an authorized contractor of SBEC.

Crews will begin in the Fieldstore area, specifically along Murrel Road, working north-northwest through Nichols Sawmill Road, Joseph Road, and Rice Road.

Members in these areas may see Front Line inspectors accessing SBEC equipment located on or near their property. Inspectors will make contact with members before entering any property. All personnel will be clearly identified with SBEC-issued ID badges, and they will be driving a marked company truck. Photos of the inspection crew and their vehicle are below for your reference.
